Geoffrey Steven Braiman

I am a recent Master of Architecture graduate from the Georgia Institute of Technology (GTCOA). I am currently living in New York City and working as an intern architect. While I chip away at my IDP requirements, I am also working as a freelance graphic / web designer.

My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Science, Technology, and Culture (STaC), with a minor in Philosophy of Science also from the Georgia Institute of Technology; I studied the gaps between the arts and sciences and attempted to bridge them conceptually through the study of philosophy.

My transition to architecture began during my undergraduate education. During the fall of my senior year, I enrolled in an architecture graduate seminar led by Dr. John Peponis (PHD professor of College of Architecture) and Dr. Ken Knoespel (Chairman Undergraduate College of STaC) called "The Spatial Construction of Meaning." Both Knoespel and Peponis facilitated my transition to the world of architecture by negotiating my undergraduate pursuits from a strictly conceptual framework to one founded in spatial relationships. The rest of my story is contained within my design portfolio.
